The Limitation of…
There are several properties that make something legible as a wall. Proportions and scale make a strong statement in this case. Wall acts as a selective barrier because of density of its elements and porosity. Wall appears solid but if we look at it closely the uniform surface comprises of many holes because of its layered structure. It has one plane of organization and that makes it rigid in terms of appearance and function. The relationship between centre of gravity and ground is explored to release the wall of its limits by breaking the rigidity. The direct relationship changes into many complex interactions defining the form. Change in the mass of an object shifts the centre of gravity eventually altering the relationship between a unit and its surroundings. The flexibility also introduces a sense of movement that applies to the whole system testing limits through alteration of individual forces. All the interactions emerge from the same uniform force applied in a diffused manner and an ability of units to manoeuvre based on the applied force.
